Applications are invited for all levels of research fellow positions in the area of novel instrumentation development. Experience in developing mass spectrometry; chromatography; optical analytical instruments; analytical biomedical instruments and biomedical imaging and therapy instruments are favored. Industrial working experience is preferred. Inventor-ship of patents will also be considered in addition to paper publications.

Faculty Positions 

Department of Physics and Institute of Astronomy 

National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan 

 
The department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant 
professor level, starting in the 2018 academic year. Ranks at associate professor or 
above will also be considered for candidates with exceptional record of research 
excellence and academic leadership. We seek a colleague with specialty in condensed 
matter physics, high energy physics, or AMO (atomic, molecular and optical) physics. 
Outstanding individuals in the fields, biophysics, plasma physics, and astronomy and 
astrophysics will also be considered. Successful candidates are expected to teach at 
both undergraduate and graduate levels. He or she should be able to develop 
competitive research programs and has the potential to become a top scholar 
internationally. Research and teaching experiences beyond Ph.D. are preferred. Under 
normal circumstances, proficiency in Chinese language is required. Applicants should 
submit a resume, a list of publications, up to five representative works, a description 
of research and teaching plans. The candidate should also arrange at least three
